One of my previous jobs, guiding of hiking tours (Durmitor, Montenegro)
Right time, right place. With the group from Belgium.
This is Luvigj, a shepard.
Luvigj is from village of Vermosh, once one of the most remote mountain villages in Albania.
He has worked up in the Durmitor, Montenegro, for 3rd summer. His wife and two kids, living in the city of Shkoder, Albania, waiting for him to be back after the season in October.
During a day, when out with sheep and goats, he doesn't eat anything, maybe only blueberries if ripe.
After spending two hours with him, following his herd, I offered him a water from my bottle. He refused saying that he's fine, that he drinks from springs not far from here when thirsty.
Back home, in Vermosh, there are his brothers who take care of their herd of sheep and goats.
